Plates

Plates go under the shoe of the skate, they can be made of metal or Nylon. Nylon is lighter and cheaper, most beginner skates come with a nylon plate. Metal plates tend to be heavier and more expensive but offer greater response. More Advanced skater will benefit from greater response, it can take a bit of adjusting too, first time you try them. there is also a No Toe Stop (NTS) version of some of these plates that can be ordered in on request, get in touch with us if you are looking for something that is out of stock.
