Hello there,

Welcome to our new blog, here, I am planning to put up some useful info and tips for skaters Young and Old, Newbies to Experienced skaters. If there is something you think would be useful get in touch and let us know!

So firstly we are a Quad Roller Skates Shop, we sell quad skates and Accessories for all types of Quad skating, and if we don't have it ask us and we can try and get it in for you

It all started in 2011, I had started playing Roller Derby with Glasgow Roller Derby in 2010, but you couldn't buy many skates in the UK, they had to be ordered in from the States, which is costly and you don't get to try them on for size so everyone was ordering the wrong sizes left, right and centre. The guys at Rig Bikes on West Regent street in Glasgow agreed to let us have a space in their shop and we gradually built up our stock a bit at a time whilst working nights in a music venue.

Tip one :- bend your knees, the single most important piece of skating advice you will ever have, no matter how advanced you are, this should be the first thing you think about when struggling with a new (or old) move

Tip two :- don't look at your feet, generally speaking you will go where your eyes are looking, and you don't want to go down, look ahead and that should help with your balance!

Tip Three :- keep your heels pointed in and toes pointed out, take little marching steps and your will start to move forward! Your are now skating  :)
