Comfortable fit and more mobility

slide-on I find more awkward than easy but the fit is snug with plenty of motion

I found them much more comfortable than the standard type with the flat bar up and down the centre

Had an older model where I landed heavy on the pad and the pop rivets burst but these seem much more sturdy
